Hawaii has many beautiful hotels and resorts, and one that is growing in popularity is the Ko Olina resort. This is found on the West side of Oahu, around 17 miles from Honolulu. Visiting the Golf Course
Ko Olina Resort Shuttle will take you to the most popular golf course, the Ko Olina Golf Club has an 18-hole course with water features and greens with multiple tiers. The Ko Olina restaurant with the club serves a range of Hawaiian fusion cuisine created by the Chef Roy Yamaguchi. The golf course has seen a number of championships on the green, including the Senior PGA in 1992 and the LPGA Lotte Championship in 2012. It has also been featured on a Play Golf video game. In the future, it may play host to other PGA championships.
Activities in Ko Olina
There are several things that you can do when you are staying in the Ko Olina resort. There is sport fishing, sailing, Whale and dolphin watching, sunset cruises, helicopter tours, and kayak and paddleboard renting. There are sports available at the Marina, the Beach Villas resort, and the Lagoon 2 beach. The marina in particular offers a number of sailing and water sports activities including ocean tours. There are also other activities within the resort, including a lot of shopping at the Ko Olina retail center.
Getting to the resort
If you would like to spend any time in the area, then you will need help to travel from the International airport at Honolulu to the Westward shoreline.
